INSTRUCTIONS

1. BACK
A. Hem the top of the back pocket, folded under twice. Turn up ½“ on bottom, center velcro loop and sew both edges to it.
B. Topstitch the ½“ velcro hook to the back panel between notches.
C. Smooth the velcro strips together on the back and double topstitch both sides.
D. Tack 2 - 7“ buckle assemblies to the back at notches.

 

2. INSIDE FRONT
A. Tack the elastic every inch down the panel at notches.
B. Sew mesh and velour pockets right sides together, open and bind the top edge.
C. Fold the pockets 1“ from each side and topstitch 1/8” from the fold.
D. Place the center in the middle of the panel and topstitch between them.
E. Baste them to the panel tucking under ¼ “ at each fold.
F. Double stitch the Webbing flap ½“ above the pockets, with the corners folded in.
G. Sew all but the left side of the ID pocket to the panel at marks.
H. Tack the Key Hook at the notch.

3. OUTSIDE FRONT
A. Fold the mesh pocket 3“ from each side and topstitch 1/8” from the fold.
B. Tuck them in 1“ toward center and tack.
C. Fold the pockets 1“ from each side and topstitch 1/8” from the edge.
D. Topstitch it and the Pocket Top to the zipper tape, put on pull.

4. ZIPPER BAND
A. Sew the zipper to the folded edge of the band, put pulls on opposing ends.
B. Sew the tab on the ends, turn and topstitch on tab side.
C. Handle- turn under ends 1 1/2 inches of 12" webbing and X-stitch the ends to
the center of the band, lining them up with notches.

5. CASE ASSEMBLY
A. Sew band around the front panel, right sides together, bind the seam.
B. Sew band around the back panel assembly with right sides together, bind the seam.
C. Unzip and turn the case right side out.
D. Thread 4" webbing through a male and female buckle and triple X-stitch them to the sides of the Lap Top case with the tops of the buckle even with the top of the case.
